No BitLocker Recovery Key
+ Dead Motherboard

If BitLocker is on and the key is missing, the drive can’t be accessed in another computer.

The fix is getting the original machine to boot so it can unlock the drive.
Motherboard repair may be required to make that happen long enough to recover the data. I can attempt that repair and get your data back.

Malware, Pop-ups, Scareware

Fake “virus” pop-ups are designed to create urgency and trick people into calling scammers or allowing remote access.

Cleanup removes the alerts and locks down browser notifications/permissions to stop and prevent repeat incidents.

Typically low cost.

Computer Failure

Common failures include dead or failing drives, broken keyboards, damaged screens, and overheating issues. Hardware repair focuses on replacing failed components and verifying stable operation.

Operating system services to repair Windows or perform a full reinstall.

If a repair isn’t recommended or unlikely to last, that is explained up front so options can be chosen.

Office-to-Office Network Linking (VPN)

  • Shared files and folders
  • Shared drives (mapped drives)
  • Access to office servers/NAS
  • Print to office printers
  • Remote Desktop to office PCs
  • Use “on-network only” software
  • Access internal web tools
  • Centralized backups to main office
  • Secure access for traveling staff
  • Easier remote support across sites

Playstation / Xbox Game Console & Device Repair

  • HDMI port replacement
  • HDMI retimer / encoder chip replacement (when needed)
  • USB port replacement
  • Power jack / power connector repair
  • No power / shuts off troubleshooting
  • Overheating fixes (fan/heatsink service, thermal paste or liquid metal rework)
  • Disc drive issues (won’t read / won’t take discs)
  • Hard drive / SSD replacement and system reinstall
  • Liquid damage cleanup and repair
  • Premium controller repairs (stick drift, buttons, charge port, battery)

When Nobody Else Will Touch It

If help can’t be found for it, the project can be taken on anyway. This is for computerized systems and machine control systems like CNC machines, plasma cutters, car wash automation, and other “odd” equipment that typical repair shops won’t touch. Even if the exact system has never been seen before, the problem can still be traced, isolated, and explained clearly, then a practical path forward is recommended. Budget concerns need to be addressed up front—this is a specialized, time-intensive service and is honestly the least affordable category offered. Still, when the alternative is replacing an expensive system, having someone capable of breaking down how it works and getting it running again can be the better option.

Network Engineering
(Wired + Wi-Fi)

Affordable help for homeowners and small businesses. Simple Wi-Fi fixes are handled the right way, and full network build-outs are available when needed. Granular control over network settings helps prevent repeat issues down the line.
Services can cover the full job from planning to installation: network layout, hardware selection, and structured cabling. Work includes running and terminating Ethernet drops, installing wall jacks and network hardware, and building the core network from modem to router to switches and Wi-Fi. Setup can also include racks/cabinets, UPS placement, access point mounting, and mesh or wired backhaul configuration. After everything is live, coverage and performance are validated, problem areas are corrected, and labeling/documentation is provided.

Common Network Features & Add-Ons
  • Reliable whole-home/whole-office Wi-Fi coverage (mesh or access points)
  • Ethernet drops to rooms, offices, TVs, and game consoles
  • Hard-wired backhaul for mesh systems (better speed and stability)
  • Dedicated access points (ceiling/wall mounted) for clean coverage
  • Network switches for expanding wired ports
  • Wired network for workstations, printers, and servers/NAS
  • Separate guest Wi-Fi network
  • IoT network separation (smart TVs, cameras, thermostats, etc.)
  • VPN / remote access to a home or office network
  • Network storage (NAS) for shared files and backups
  • VoIP / Wi-Fi calling reliability improvements
  • Outdoor Wi-Fi coverage (garage, patio, shop)
  • Clean rack/cabinet builds, labeling, and documentation
